Cost Control

Costs are controlled by numerous means, including but not limited to:

  • Initial scope, budgets, and schedules are reviewed for content and accuracy
  • Pricing and take-offs are completed at each various completion stage of the construction documents
  • Scope increases are reviewed to keep the project within defined limits
  • Team review is utilized to include innovative ideas and alternative systems for consideration, often referred to as value engineering
  • Energy efficiency, life cycles, and available technology will be reviewed
  • Site conditions are thoroughly studied for maximum efficiency at minimum costs
  • Qualified subcontractors are pre-selected for inclusion to the project, and may be solicited for technical advice or information relevant to the specific trade
  • Multiple subcontractor bids for each trade ensure accurate market competitiveness
  • Schedule Compliance: schedules are developed and reviewed for maximum efficiency in labor and constructability
  • Long lead items and material are identified early for impact on project pricing, scheduling, and delivery

We Build Projects of All Sizes & Complexities ,Our team applies a unique owner’s perspective with a contractor’s knowledge throughout the early design stages to ensure the feasibility of the project within budget and quality requirements. This is done by participation in early stages, conceptual budget development, budget refinements during design development, value engineering and establishing contingencies.

This unique approach translates in the constructions services as well. Each project is assigned a dedicated project manager and an on-site superintendent. They will hold bi-weekly meetings with the owners and design professionals and weekly meetings with subcontractors to monitor key areas of construction from commencement of the project for the duration. The construction leadership group will do regular quality inspections, oversee an efficient punch list policy, maintain and provide project documentation and reporting while constantly managing the necessary schedule to present the project to the owner in the timeline expected. The project manager and superintendent, in conjunction with the Safety Director, will maintain a safe job site and working environment for all.
